The concept for Barkers was sparked by a trip to London during the swinging 60s by founder Ray Barker. He returned to New Zealand with an idea for a men's clothing range and since then Barkers has developed into one of the country's leading menswear brands, even being endorsed by the All Blacks.
The store's collection ranges from casual to sharp looking suits and includes knitwear, denim, polo shirts, and blazers.
Barkers has two stylish locations in central Wellington - in Manners Mall, Manners Street and on Lambton Quay, one of the city's prime shopping areas.
