Black Pearl Charters takes small groups on chartered fishing trips around the Wellington coastline.
Charters are run from the company's Paremata base on board the Black Pearl, an 8-metre craft that can take nine passengers and allows up to six people to fish in comfort and are skippered by experienced Wellington fisherman Matt Dobson.
Trips can be scheduled for five or eight hours with the chance to catch a number of different fish including snapper and blue cod. A high definition recording system can record the fishing session for posterity to mark any big catches.
Black Pearl also runs evening fishing trips and shorter trips for children.
Equipment can be provided or guests can bring their own rods, and refreshments are also provided as part of the charter.
