Housed in The Bolton Hotel, just off The Terrace, Artisan Restaurant & Bar puts a lot of heart - and art - into its food. In fact, when the plates arrive at your table, it seems almost a shame to tuck into them.

Whilst this is ostensibly a hotel restaurant, the ambience is that of a fine dining establishment, especially in the evenings. It's not stuffy, but you can sense that this place takes itself very seriously, and for all the right reasons. Artisan Restaurant & Bar don't want you to just eat here, they want you to 'experience' it here.

As you'd expect from a restaurant like this, the wine list is extensive, and considered, with most labels chosen for how they complement the menu.

The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner seven days a week, and is open for lunch Monday to Friday.

Breakfast: Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 10.00am / Saturday & Sunday, 7.00am- 11.00pm

Lunch: Monday to Friday, 12.00pm - 14.00

Dinner: Monday to Sunday, 18.00pm - 22.00pm
